|Terms of Service|
|When joining the Musepack Forums, you agree to the following Terms of Service:
1. All messages express the views of the author, not the forum and its administration
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore, you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators, or webmaster (except for posts by these) and hence will not be held liable.
2. You must converse in an appropriate manner to be allowed to participate
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, or sexually-oriented content. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned. The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator, and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move, or close any topic at any time, should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator, and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
3. No Illegal Content
You are not allowed to post, discuss, or link to any content that is regarded by law as protected and might lead to infringement of copyright. Doing so will result in an immediate cancellation of your forum account. The forum's admins will inquire as to the nature of the offense, and if proved justified, a complaint will be filed to the proper authorities.
All posts must be in English so that everyone will be able to understand them. You must choose the most appropriate forum to post your thread to. When replying to a thread, you must keep your discussion related to the topic. Dragging the discussion off-topic is unnecessary and won't be tolerated, no exceptions. If you're compelled to discuss an off-topic matter, simply start a new thread. Thread titles must be understandable and related to the thread's content. Do not post the same thread more than once. If a thread was closed or deleted by the forum's staff, you're not allowed to start a new one discussing the same matter.
5. Sound Quality Statements
Subjective sound quality comparisons are not accepted. You may not make any type of statement regarding differences between audio formats or audio samples without backing it up with objective ABX or ABX+ABC/HR results that provide substantial backing for your claims.
