how to help musepack?
Well basicly I would want to "help" musepack in anyway I could. I have it on my main website, I spread the word about it in every occasion. I would want to help developing it, but i don't have any experience with writing in c++. I spread my music in this format. Any idea how I could contribute other way to musepacks well being ?

More developers who could submit patches instead of just report issues would help :) (though just reports are also welcome), and more people implementing Musepack support in various formats, software and devices would definitely help it. As a user, you're already doing everything you can. Just using and spreading the word about it eventually results in more support, and that's a fact. Thanks to that, while more widespread support is desired, Musepack is doing pretty well right now. The ultimate goal is high sound quality for end users, and we're achieving it thanks to a highly versatile, implementable and optimal format for the purpose, great developers and great end users.

I just bought sansa c250(cheap DAP) and installed rockbox in it - for musepack support.

:) Musepack supports you. It even decodes so fast it prolongs your mobile listening experience. The aural Cialis, with no side effects.

Sorry do dig this out but for the record, I've also been talking about musepack for years on my "blog-like" website on quality lossy codecs (in Brazilian Portuguese) and have been tweeting about it too. (#musepack hash).

Always happy to spread the word!

Hi. I'm just letting you know that that link gets me to a page with "The link you followed is invalid or the requested document has been moved."

I do apologize for only spotting your reply now - that will teach me not to use a notification e-mail address I only keep for the sake of other Google services.

Though only the link was broken, the site has been up but idle after so many years. So though still an advocate of MPC's superior quality, I guess I'll just keep on talking about it now and then - either personally or thru the odd social media website.

Thank you ever so much for being such a caring developer.
