Angry Linux User

Hello

Im a longterm MPC user...got a few thousand MPC files and im using linux...

How come there isnt a plugin for IE k3b to burn MPC files? It really annoys me.

ok... for one, just look at the plugins that k3b supports (i'm assuming your using k3b 0.11.x) -> not that many, huh?

until recently (i.e. libmpcdec), there wasn't a good way to decode musepack for developers of other software.

now, lets get to k3b from current cvs... yep, sure enough. k3b supports musepack.

so grab it from cvs, or from 0.12beta or use the packages at rarewares.

Problem is...when compiling from the Beta or from the CVS of k3b....ironically...it errors out when trying to compile musepack plugin... :(

mmm you need LIBMUSEPACK from the download area installed prior to k3b configure

I installed the musepack source code along with mpcdec...compiled it and installed it with no errors and it works perfectly!
