Any interest in support for MusePack in Raptor Audio

Raptor Audio is a C#/C CD Ripper application with support for MP3,M4A, OGG, FLAC, & WMA encoding. Is there any interest in providing Musepack support?

A good and simple way to support Musepack (as well as other encoders) encoding would be to add an "external encoder" option like several similar applications have. A user could choose the exe file and set the command line options. Premade presets (see for a good example foobar2000's CLI encoder) and preset saving could be included.

External encoder is a great option, but I prefer to do the encoding through DLL's so there is no need to write data to temporary files. All of the encoders in Raptor Audio are stream encoders so a PCM sample can be read, then converted in memory, then written to a file, as opposed to having to be written to a WAV file then have a command line call.

So if there is interest in Musepack support, and Musepack does have an third party API I would be more than happy to add the support.

mppenc doesn't require using temporary files. You can use pipes.
