mppenc 1.15v
mppenc 1.15v is out.

What's changed:

1. The encoder now employs a workaround for denormal number issues. Recently-reported synthetic samples with passages of digital silence are handled correctly regardless of the compiler used.
2. A small fix to the code now allows AMD64 compiles to be made easily. We have not noticed speed gains. Microsoft's 64-bit compilers should mature before we release official 64-bit builds of the encoder.
3. The German comments in the source have been translated to English by CiTay. It will make it easier for newcomers to work with the code.

Just out of curiosity.... How fast runs the encoding-process on an AMD-64 system? - Letīs say an AMD 64 3000 from WAV to MPC (the factor)? - With my meanhwile quite old Athlon XP 2000+ from FLAC to MPC is a factor of about 12,5 x reached.

A 2 GHz Athlon 64 3000+ (socket 754) manages ~22.5x with the official 1.15v.

Using an Athlon 64 3200+ on a socket 939 board managed 17x using the dba poweramp converter plugin. That is good enough for me!

Rob, I assume you're using the updated, faster Windows build.
With a socket 939 Athlon 64 3200+ you should be able to get around 24x if you don't have things running in the background that take much CPU time. Using mppenc.exe or foobar2000 with high or realtime priority that's what I and others get.
