Default Low Level Clicks

The problem of low level liniarity is more common place than you may imagine, it is made worse when a copy of a classical CD is made where the peak level recorded is say -10dB and there are several tracks of differing levels.

When these CDs are coded using xtreme and replayed using RG track gain( to take account of local domestic noise) the poor low level coding is very apparent on tracks which fade to silence, and there are many of these in classical music.

At the point where coding begins to fail the resultant clicks and other noises will not go un-noticed, and in practice make the present mpc coder unsuitable for near transparent copys of classical music. The is confirmed by inspection of my library which shown no problem on any none classical recording.
