Hello,
I have just started using MPC and encountered a problem with the tagging. I use Exact Audio Copy using latest MPC encoder 1.16 (as suggested). I am using these parameters: --quality 6 --xlevel --ape2 --artist "%a" --title "%t" --album "%g" --year "%y" --track "%n" --genre "%m" %s The problem is I don't get the tags. What I get instead is (using foobar2000, JetAudio) <start Quote> Title: %t Artist: %a Album: %g <end quote> and so on.. I tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything to match this. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, |

Hi morke.
To make sure, in EAC's compression options, the "user defined encoder" option should be selected and not "MPC encoder" which is outdated (the author should update it). Make sure ID3 tagging is disabled. |
