Default OpenAL Extension

Is there a possibility for a future OpenAL extension for MPC? For more information: http://www.openal.org

In my opinion, that would be the best way for MPC sound support while coding a game.

Or... are there any other open source solutions for including an MPC header file for MPC support in my programs?

What's needed from the Musepack team to help the OpenAL people?

As far as I know, there is only one commercial game with Musepack music in it. They did not ask for help or use any solution that we know of.

Sorry to dredge up such an old topic, but any idea what game it was that used MPC for it's music, and was this only music and sound effects as well ?

The game is Samogonki. You can find screenshots from it here:
