Default I need to burn mpc to CD

I'm wondering if there are any plugins for cd burning software or an applicatiion that would decode to wav. I tried the decoder on the site but it just flashed what looked like a dos window when I tried to run it. Any help will be great!

If you use nero you can get the mpc plugin here: http://neroplugins.cd-rw.org/

Otherwise you can try foobar2000 ( http://www.foobar2000.org/ ): it requires nero for burning.

Or another one: Burrrn ( http://www.burrrn.net/ ).

Bye.

P.S. the decoder (mppdec) is a command line program...

In order to use the decoder you need to first open a command line window (Start -> Run -> type "cmd") and go to the folder in which mppdec.exe is, type "mppdec" and the list of options will appear.

If you want to easily use mppdec, you can use MPC Batch Encoder or another program that can be used as a front end for mppdec (navigate to Prog Overview on our site).

If you use Nero, you could use the MPC plugin from neroplugins.cd-rw.net that allows to add mpc files to the burning list and burn them directly (on-the-fly, without having to decode all files to wav first).

edit: cane was faster note: don't start a reply and be away in the middle.

Thanks guys. I really want to be able to use the Nero plugin, but I can't download it. I get an error everytime I try to grab it. The site says it's most likely my Firewall or browser(firefox) and I don't want to mess with either of those. Would either of you kind gentlemen care to email me the plugin?

I normally use WinAMP for all my decoding and then I use CDRWin to burn audio CDs... guess its habit from the days of Pentium 133 and SCSI CD Burners.

But I would recommend using ReplayGain on the files before burning them, I don't know if Nero automagically does that but if it does enable it.

Regards

Info can be found on the ReplayGain site. The Nero plugin from the above site doesn't support it.
