Default EAC and mpc

i've downloaded the mpc encoder in the same folder of EAC..it decompress the file, but a window when try to play it already in wav (with winamp) say the file is damaged..
can be a problem of settings or of the decoder..or what else?

can anyone help me to decompress mpc files using EAC?

thankxx

Why are you doing so? Use foobar2000 for decompressing/listening mpcs.
http://www.foobar2000.org/
Or download the winamp plugin.

First: be sure you downloaded at least the normal version and not the lite one.
1. load a playlist containing the tracks you want;
2. select those tracks;
3. right click->convert->run conversion->select wav;
That's all

First of all, EAC can only decode ("decompress") file formats that you have an installed Windows ACM CODEC for. Unfortunately, it can't use an external deoder like mppdec the same way it can use an external encoder for encoding.
Secondly, please try not to turn threads like this into personal recommendation threads. There are many programs that can be used as frontends for mppdec and the main site has a program overview page that lists them, so a much better idea would be to direct someone to that page instead of unavoidably dragging more personal recommendations that unavoidably drag offtopic discussion.
