Hi,
sorry but I could not find this in the FAQ, and you also don't have a Forum saying "support", so I thougt I might post it in here: I have a WAV File, when I try to feed it to mppenc it gives me "ERROR: Sampling frequency of 88.2 kHz is not supported!". eerrrm, what am I suposed to do now?!? Thanks! |

This sampling rate is not supported by mppenc. What I suggest is to use the SoX resampler or another resampler to resample your track to 44.1 Khz, which is handled properly by mppenc. Conversion from 88.2 to 44.1 kHz is very transparent, with the settings: -v -s
or with the foobar2000 SoX component - "quality: best, allow aliasing/imaging: On, phase response: 50% (Linear)" |
