Does any one know such a browser flash player ? Or could anyone provide one ? It would be neat to replace low quality mp3 with high grade Musepack tracks on myspace ^^.

Unfortunately (but expectedly) Adobe only supports MP3 and AAC in Flash.

It's a messy job because of poor support of third party formats in Adobe's development tools and Flash Player, but it's possible to write a Musepack player for Flash (v10 only).

Soon after HTML5 is adopted by all browsers, flash will fade away.
However, AFAIK only ogg will be supported natively. What would be necessary to have embedded Musepack audio in HTML5, though? Maybe DS filters (in Windows), or something else? Somebody with web design knowledge may enlighten us maybe? |
