Default MPC in Media Player Classic and Zoom Player - error?

Hello.
I tried to play .mpc files in Media Player Classic and Zoom Player, both from CCCP and it didn't work. So I tried to play them in Windows Media Player - still didn't work. So, I check the Musepack site and downloaded RadLight MPC DirectShow Filter 1.0.0.4. After instalation I tried to play them again in WMP - ok, works. So, I went back to Media Player Classic and Zoom Player and...I was shocked...it didn't work. Crapy WMP can play .mpc and Media Player Classic/Zoom Player cannot...
Does anyone have solution for this problem (and don't tell me to stick with WMP)?

In Media Player Classic check the settings under menu View -> Options -> Player -> Formats.
You have to choose DirectShow in case that something else is set by default.
I've just verified that it works.

PS. These settings might be in other menu if you are using older version of MPC.

Thanks, it works now.
Hope that Musepack will work in video in future (h.264+Musepack...that would be nice ^_^).

Well, it depends on the container. Even now it is possible to use it in Matroska (MSK) container if I remember well.
However I doubt that it will be widely adopted soon by the mass.
It is just for audiophiles

In Matroska, you say? Hmm, actually I tried to put h.264 compressed video and Musepack audio in the .mkv by MKVtoolnix (mkvmerge GUI) but non of my players could play it. But i will try to figure it out...

Yep, there has been an annoying delay, sorry about that. An SV8 beta will be released in some days. It's quite stable, but there may be some bugs that have gone unnoticed, so we won't recommend that you start mass encoding or converting SV7 files to it just yet, as there is a small chance that some changes to the bitstream will have to be made (thus breaking compatibility with a future version). After the public beta testing period is done (in how long depends on the findings), the SV8 bitstream will be finalized and you could start mass encoding/converting .
