Default mp3infp modified to support musepack files

mp3infp is a Windows explorer shell extension and tag editor. It has some nice functions like a configurable Infotip window, added columns support for explorer and the ability to read/write tags for a number of different file formats.

The original version supports:
mpeg1.0/2.0/2.5 Layer1`3 (.mp3/.mp2/.mp1/.rmp)
-> ID3v1/v1.1/v2.2(read only)/v2.3
-> RMP3 format RiffSIF (It is used in Japan)
TwinVQ (.vqf)
WAV (.wav)
AVI (.avi)
-> AVI 1.0 (Video for Windows)
-> AVI 2.0 (OpenDML)
Windows Media (.wma/.wmv/.asf)
Winamp 2.xx,5.xx/Media Player playlist (.m3u)
Ogg Vorbis (.ogg)
Monkey's Audio APE Tag v1[read]/v2 (.ape)

I modified the original version so it supports Musepack files as well. It uses libmpcdec to get some basic info about the file and it also allows you to read/write ID3v1(.1), ID3v2 and/or APEv2 tags. (I know adding an ID3v2 tag to a Musepack file is a bad idea, but I included support for them so that they could be easily removed if they are already present.)

The author of mp3infp is looking at my changes and hopefully Musepack will be officially supported in the next version. In the meantime, you can download the unofficial version here.

(Edit: Thanks to Shy for making it available here.)

Hi kmart. This tool is a nice idea . Hopefully your changes will be incorporated soon.
Feel free to link to the file here until an official version with the change is released.

Hi kmart,

Can you try to update mp3infp with SV8 support? Or maybe it's not so trivial work?

Since this tool hasn't been updated in years, I'll mention MediaTab which is based on a similar idea and supports Musepack.
