Default mpc and Wavelab 5

Hi there! I'm just learning about mpc, so please bear with me.

I was wondering if mpc was compatible with Wavelab? Is it possible to open mpc files in Wavelab. And if it is, what plugin do I need? If this isn't possible, how can I convert these files to wavs?

I've tried searching through this forum, but I can't seem to find anything that really helps. Or maybe I just don't understand? :?

Thanks so much for any help!

Hi Kattara.
It's WaveLab that's not compatible with Musepack. They have no plugin.
To decode an MPC file to WAV you could use mppdec or MPC Batch Encoder with mppdec, as listed on our Windows downloads page, or one of the frontends listed on our Program Overview page.

Ok, thanks for the reply, Shy. I'll check out mppdec and see if I can figure it out. lol Don't be surprised if I ask alot of questions!

Wow! I just encoded some files, and it was easy as pie! Quality is amazing.
